A video has surfaced of some New Patriotic Party (NPP) members in the Awutu Senya East District in the Central Region cursing party executives of their party before a river deity.

The folks in the video, who say they have been working for the party since 2008, claim they have been sidelined by some National and Constituency executives in the recent polling station executive and electoral area elections held by the party.

Even though adomonline.com cannot confirm which river god(des) the men had appeared before, it was clear from the video that they were before a river deity which they pleaded with to settle their cases for them.

“Nana [in apparent reference to the deity], there are certain things going on that we do not understand; we have been working with the executives of the NPP in area since 2008. We have toiled with our blood, sweat, strength and money but after the party has won power, we have been taken out of the delegates’ list with the accusation that we are NDC people”, a man leading the invocation said.
He continued: “Nana, if after all these, they have decided to take us out of just a delegates’ list, settle our case for us; if John Boadu [NPP acting National Secretary] knows about this, deal with him – kill him.”
Other people cursed by the group were Mavis Hawa Koomson, Papa Kodwo Anim, John Kojo Adjabeng, one Chairman Kute and one Chairman Ibrahim Sadat and any other people involved in eliminating their names from the register.
The group called for all manner of harm and misfortune including loss of children and diseases to befall their targets.
They, however, insist that nothing will take them from the party.
The NPP recently held polling station officials elections from 17th to 21st January, 2018, with the electoral area elections following from January 26th to 29th, 2018.

  1. this is madness and ignorance…who does this in the 21st century…its funny….this are some of the reason why our dear country is so far behind. we vote for parties because of what we want to gain not what the nation is going to gain, thats why we have lots of incompetent leaders in the country…..hmmmmmm poor mother Ghana.

  2. I feel ashamed to be reading about this piece of news and occurrence. I cannot believe that in this modern day and age of enlightenment, such barbaric acts – by heathen, “Stone -Age” mentality (“Bushiatic”), i.e. backward minded cottage folks blinded by common jealousy and envy – should characterise our political discourse.
To think that these dastardly acts are being perpetrated, and carried out, by supposed supporters and members of the ruling party makes me sick. What a shame. Look at the way and manner they are behaving.
One thing I know is that ‘HE WHO DRAWS THE SWORD, DIES BY THE SWORD…’ .Matthew 26: 52 .
We therefore, REVERSE & REVOKE, every evil curse thereby pronounced on the NPP Executives there. We decree that NO SUCH EVIL SHALL BEFALL ANY ONE OF THEM!!!
We return TO SENDER, any and ALL SUCH CURSES, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen and AMEN.
