An accountant at the Western regional branch of the Nursing and Midwifery Council is alleged to have forged the stamp of the Bank of Ghana to steal state funds.
According to the Auditor General Report, the man stole over 90 million cedis and covered it up with the forged stamp.
Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem host, Captain Smart on his Fabewoso segment bemoaned how such corrupt officials are left to go scot-free.
This is because the accountant whose name is still not known was only asked to refund the money with interest in spite of perpetrating fraud.

Smart should rehearse his figures before he comes to public. His figures are misleading or not correct for a fact.
