A leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Agbesi Nutsu has called on Parliament to consider the conferment of the position of an extraordinary Ambassador-at-Large title on the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him, the President deserves the award because he has fast become an Ambassador for the nation ‘who has been touring the whole world instead of staying home to solve the problems of the country’.
“He is the present Ambassador-at-large, he does not stay in the country…he is always hopping from one country to the other, he should stay home and offer solutions to our problems…,” he said.
He further accused the President of spending the money for the development of the country on travel expenses.

Such statements are undeserving of comments. I remember Kufuor was castigated for his travels that brought Ghana out of its doldrums into civilised community of nations. Where is this guy coming from anyway with such speeches? Please!
