Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is set to commence a working visit to the Ashanti Region on Monday, September 29, with engagements aimed at strengthening government interactions with market traders and traditional authorities.
Her schedule includes tours of Mamponteng, Suame, and Krofuom markets, where she will meet traders to hear their concerns, challenges, and expectations of government.
The visit forms part of the administration’s broader effort to engage the informal sector and ensure that market women and small-scale traders play an active role in the nation’s development agenda.
Professor Opoku-Agyemang will also pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace.
