The Half Assini Divisional Police Command has arrested two individuals captured in a disturbing viral video assaulting a 12-year-old boy.
The suspects, 58-year-old Issah Morro and 27-year-old Suleman Abdul Rashid, were picked up after the video, which showed the child being hanged from a roof and severely beaten over an alleged theft of GH₵200, sparked widespread outrage.
According to a police statement, the incident took place at Ankasa near Elubo in the Western Region.
The victim is currently receiving medical care, while the suspects remain in custody assisting with investigations.
