Two individuals are in critical condition, and two others have been arrested following a violent clash over land at Gomoa Bantama, also known as Millennium City, in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The Millennium City District Police Command confirmed the arrest of Patrick Ndego and one Hassan, who allegedly inflicted cutlass wounds on two people during the altercation over a land dispute.
Speaking to Adom News, the Chief of Gomoa Bantama, Nana Kwesi Amoani, said residents are living in fear due to ongoing threats and violence, particularly from the suspects.
He revealed that Patrick Ndego, who is now in police custody, has been attacking property developers in the area over the past week, making life unbearable for residents.
Nana Kwesi Amoani appealed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to ensure justice is served and called for immediate intervention to restore peace and security in the community.
