A man identified only as “Alligator” has tragically lost his life while assisting in the loading of a bulldozer onto a low-bed trailer at a local company yard in Ejisu.
According to eyewitness accounts, the deceased was standing atop the low-bed trailer to guide the loading process when the trailer reportedly experienced brake failure.
In the ensuing chaos, he lost his balance and fell, getting trapped beneath the heavy equipment.
He died on the spot.
His traumatized colleagues say they were all having a good day until the incident.
Personnel from the Ejisu District Police Command arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and conveyed the body to the Ejisu Government Hospital morgue.
Authorities have since launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
The incident has left co-workers and community members in shock, raising concerns about workplace safety and equipment maintenance standards.
