Tourism Authority backs Stonebwoy’s BHIM Festival as part of ‘December in GH’ celebrations

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has announced its support for BHIM Music Group Limited in hosting a major musical concert on December 24, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium as part of the annual December in GH celebrations.

The collaboration is part of GTA’s broader effort to promote Ghana’s creative arts and entertainment industry while positioning the country as Africa’s leading destination for festive and cultural tourism.

According to the Authority, the Accra Sports Stadium has been officially secured for the event, with BHIM Music Group set to begin full event setup on December 23, ahead of the main concert.

Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Maame Efua Houadjeto, said the partnership is evidence of their commitment to using music and entertainment as tools for national branding and tourism growth.

“This support reflects our dedication to amplifying the creative arts as a major pillar of tourism growth. The December in GH initiative continues to create opportunities that unite Ghanaians and attract visitors to experience our culture, music, and hospitality,” she stated.

The December 24 concert, expected to be one of the headline events for December in GH 2025, will feature top Ghanaian and international artistes in a vibrant showcase of music, culture, and celebration.
