Tottenham Hotspur have struck a deal with West Ham United to sign Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus in a transfer worth around £55 million.
The 24-year-old is set to undergo a medical on Thursday before signing a six-year contract with the north London club.
Sources close to the player indicate that Kudus had made Spurs his preferred destination should he leave West Ham this summer.
With personal terms already agreed, the transfer is expected to be finalised swiftly.
Kudus, who joined the Hammers from Ajax for €41.5 million in 2023, is under contract until 2028. His current deal includes a buyout clause triggered only during the first 10 days of July: £80 million for clubs outside England, £85 million for Premier League sides, and £120 million for Saudi Arabian teams.
In the 2024/25 Premier League season, Kudus scored five goals and provided four assists in 35 appearances. That followed an impressive debut campaign in which he tallied eight goals and nine assists across all competitions.
If completed, the transfer would be the first direct deal between the two London rivals since Scott Parker moved from West Ham to Tottenham in 2011.
Chelsea and Newcastle were also monitoring Kudus earlier in the window but have been beaten to the punch by Ange Postecoglou’s side.
