Together, we build again – Ketu South MCE rallies chiefs and citizens behind Mahama’s reset agenda

In what many have described as a call to unity and purpose, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu South, Mr. Nicholas Worlachie, has declared his unwavering commitment to executing President John Dramani Mahama’s Reset Agenda with urgency and inclusiveness—urging traditional leaders and citizens to join hands in rebuilding the municipality from the ground up.

Speaking during a goodwill visit by the chiefs and people of Agbozume Degbekope, Mr. Worlachie didn’t just accept congratulations; he delivered a bold promise to serve with integrity and results.

“This agenda is not mine alone—it is ours. The Reset Agenda is a call for us to fix what’s broken, renew what’s faded, and build what’s missing. But I cannot do it without you,” he said, appealing for broad-based community support.

The Reset Agenda, championed by former President Mahama, is a national development roadmap aimed at restoring institutional trust, improving infrastructure, expanding access to quality social services, and creating jobs, especially for young people. In Ketu South, Mr. Worlachie has positioned the agenda as a lifeline to address long-standing developmental gaps and revive community hope.

The Agbozume Degbekope delegation, led by respected academic and native son Dr. Christopher Amehoe, Registrar of Ho Technical University, commended the MCE for his humility, clarity of purpose, and passion for service.

“We came not just to congratulate Mr. Worlachie, but to also give him our full support. He understands the needs of our people, and we believe he will deliver,” Dr. Amehoe stated.

In return, the MCE assured the delegation of his commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive leadership—pledging that no community will be neglected under his watch.

From roads and schools to health centers and youth empowerment initiatives, Mr. Worlachie emphasized that implementation of the Reset Agenda in Ketu South will be guided by community engagement and driven by a vision to leave no one behind.

“Development is most sustainable when it is people-led. I will engage, I will listen, and together—we will build again,” he declared.

The visit marks a symbolic start to what is expected to be a hands-on, citizen-focused leadership approach that prioritizes trust, results, and responsive governance.
