Three Ghanaians are among 154 foreign nationals held in Malta’s detention centres, according to figures tabled in the country’s parliament.

Home Affairs Minister Glenn Bedingfield gave the numbers in reply to a question from Nationalist MP Adrian Delia, the Times of Malta reported. The detainees come from 28 countries and territories. Ghana has the same number as Algeria, Morocco and Mali, three each.
