Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey will leave Arsenal today as his contract with the club runs out.
The 32-year-old joined the Premier League side on a five-year deal from Atlético Madrid in 2020.
Partey had been in talks with the club over extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium, but an agreement could not be reached on the terms of a new deal.
Although the likely outcome became clear in recent weeks, a final decision has now been made.
With his departure imminent, the dynamic midfielder is now free to speak to other clubs.
Partey remained an important part of Mikel Arteta’s side during the 2024/25 season, making 52 appearances in all competitions.
He joined Atlético Madrid in 2012, before making his professional debut. He registered 188 first-team appearances, scored 16 goals, won the Europa League in 2018, and finished as a runner-up in the Champions League in 2016.
Meanwhile, the former Tema Youth star has been linked with moves to Barcelona, Juventus, and clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
