Yes, the glitz, the awards, and the red carpet moments had us all buzzing, but what truly set the Grand Arena on fire at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards were the performances, and this year, some acts really showed out.
These artistes delivered full-blown experiences, complete with live props, stunning visuals, solid breath control, and stage presence that had both the crowd and social media going wild.
Based on the chatter online and general fan reaction, these were the five standout performances of the night:
Stonebwoy
Let’s just say Stonebwoy didn’t come to play. His performance was a perfect blend of power and presence. From the very first beat, you could feel the energy shift. He used his full arsenal including dancers, props, lighting and still managed to keep his vocals crisp. A decade of dominance, and he still performs like he’s got something to prove. Respect.

Daughters of Glorious Jesus
There’s something magical about watching legends do what they do best. When Daughters of Glorious Jesus stepped on stage, it was like the air stood still. Dressed in white and glowing with grace, they served harmonies that hit the soul. It was calm, powerful, and deeply spiritual a performance that brought generations together in one sacred moment.
Ladies and gentlemen, Daughters of Glorious Jesus 🔥👏.

King Paluta
Paluta’s set was powerful and personal. He brought the streets to the stage with “Aseda,” and the crowd knew every word. You could see and feel his hunger, the fire in his eyes, the confidence in his movement, the way he held that mic like it owed him something. No gimmicks, just pure talent and passion. It felt like he was there to make a statement, which he DID!

KiDi
KiDi gave us everything we love about him: smooth vocals, charm and a splash of sexy confidence. His performance was visually rich with sleek costume changes, vibrant lighting, and dancers who knew how to match his flow. It was polished without being too perfect, and that’s what made it work. Effortless star power.

Fameye
You know when someone sings and it doesn’t just sound good, but feels good? That was Fameye. His set was stripped-down, emotional, and full of soul. Backed by a string section and soft ambient visuals, he pulled us deep into his world; one of pain, hope, and grace. It wasn’t flashy, but it was unforgettable.

Maame Tiwaa
When Maame Tiwaa stepped onto the TGMA stage, it was like stepping into a moment of divine calm in the middle of all the glitz. Maame Tiwaa’s powerful solo performance was in honour of gospel legend Yaw Sarpong, who was indisposed. Stepping in for her longtime musical partner, she delivered a moving tribute that echoed with love and reverence. The moment was made even more special as Yaw Sarpong was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award, and Tiwaa’s voice carried his spirit with grace and glory. As the crowd joined in, singing every word with emotion, it was clear this performance was a deeply spiritual experience.
You’ve got to love Maame Tiwaa’s voice. So unique 💯#26thTGMA pic.twitter.com/zytddUg2dX
