Swedru All Blacks have announced the appointment of Egyptian coach Ahmed Ibrahim Fathi as their new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The 39-year-old tactician has signed a two-year deal with the Central Region outfit, following his official unveiling on Wednesday.
Fathi replaces Prince George Koffie, who led the club back to the top flight after more than a decade in Division One.
The Egyptian coach brings a wealth of experience, having previously worked in the Egyptian Premier League as an assistant coach with clubs such as Ismaily SC, El Gouna, El Dakhleya, Egypt National Bank SC, and Ghazl El Mahalla.
He will be joined by video analyst Mohammed Adily, who is expected to bolster the club’s technical department, particularly in scouting and performance analysis.
Swedru All Blacks are making a return to the Ghanaian top tier for the first time since the 2008/09 season, marking a significant chapter in the club’s history.
