
The President expressed optimism that the initiative will help build a more educated and skilled population, driving Ghana’s development agenda and fostering inclusive growth.
The policy provides upfront tuition support for first-year students enrolled in universities and colleges of education. It also paves the way for beneficiaries to access student loans to support their education in subsequent years.
Additionally, at least 19,500 students have received fee reimbursements, according to Government Communications Minister Felix Kwakye Ofosu. The SLTF also confirmed that 19,703 students had received second-semester loans as of July 1.
