Nations FC head coach, Frimpong Manso, has criticised the attitude of some players as the team struggles in the ongoing season.
Manso, who replaced Kasim Mingle, has recorded just one win in four matches. Following a 2-1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea, he expressed frustration over what he described as a lack of seriousness among certain squad members.
“Those who want to play, I will let them play, and it does not matter who you are. If you are not serious and don’t want to play for the team, I don’t care. I am going for those who are serious,” he told Vision FM.
“When I was appointed, I tried to unite the team, but some players still behave as if they are not serious. Whether intentional or not, I don’t want to dwell on that. Those who are serious will play; those who are not ready to go with me, I leave behind,” he added.
Nations FC currently sit 14th on the league table with 10 points and will host defending champions Bibiani GoldStars in their Matchday 11 fixture.
