Songstress Sista Afia has made a passionate appeal to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and key stakeholders to be considered for a role in supporting the Black Stars ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
In a public message, the artiste highlighted her long-standing support for the national team, noting that she has consistently used her platform to promote Ghanaian football both locally and on the international stage.
“As a proud Ghanaian female artiste, I believe representation matters,” she stated, adding that she is committed to contributing positively to the team’s spirit and global visibility.
With the World Cup on the horizon, Sista Afia expressed her desire to be part of what she described as a “historic journey”.
She is confident her involvement could help strengthen the connection between sports and entertainment in Ghana.
Her appeal comes at a time where other artistes including Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Kweku Flick have been involved in sports activities ahead of the World Cup.
