Spanish club Sevilla FC have completed the signing of highly rated Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Abrokwa from Adabraka Elders on a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2029.
The move sees the 18-year-old become the first Ghanaian footballer to join the La Liga side directly from a Ghanaian club, marking a significant milestone in his promising career.
Abrokwa joins Sevilla as the Spanish outfit begins a rebuilding phase following a disappointing 2025/26 campaign, which saw the six-time UEFA Europa League champions finish 13th in La Liga and miss out on qualification for European competition.
The Andalusian club is prioritising the recruitment and development of promising young talents, with Abrokwa regarded as one of the players capable of contributing to its long-term project.
The transfer was finalised after Sevilla and Adabraka Elders reached an agreement, paving the way for the Ghanaian youngster to begin the next chapter of his career in Spain.
Abrokwa is represented by Daniel Boifio Junior and Jorge Garcia of SBE Management.
