
President John Mahama is expected to swear in the seven newly confirmed justices of the Supreme Court today, July 3, 2025.
The ceremony will be held at the Jubilee House, where the President will administer the oath of office to the incoming justices.
Parliament, by a majority decision on June 24, approved the nominations following a rigorous vetting process.
The Appointments Committee, chaired by Bernard Ahiafor, submitted its report for consideration and approval by the House, despite reservations from the Minority.

Justice Gbeil Simon Suurbaareh
Justice Philip Bright Mensah
Justice Janapare Adzua Bartels-Kodwo
Justice Hafisata Amaleboba
