Bournemouth forward Justin Kluivert has heaped praise on teammate Antoine Semenyo, describing the Ghanaian as ‘incredible’ following his standout display against Fulham.
Semenyo was at the heart of Bournemouth’s 3-1 comeback victory, scoring twice and assisting Kluivert to help the Cherries climb to second in the Premier League, just a point behind leaders Liverpool.
The 25-year-old has been instrumental to Bournemouth’s impressive start to the season, stepping up after the summer departures of several senior players.
“He is incredible. He is showing it every game now. He is world-class, and we are glad to have him. We are a good team, and he’s the one who scores goals,” Kluivert said.
Semenyo opened the scoring with a moment of individual brilliance, gliding past Fulham defenders on the left before calmly finishing past goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
He then turned provider, setting up Kluivert to put Bournemouth ahead, before sealing the win with a composed left-footed strike deep into stoppage time.
So far this season, Semenyo has tallied six goals and three assists, cementing his growing influence at the Vitality Stadium.
