The Ghana Meteorological Agency has issued a 24-hour weather forecast, indicating that variably cloudy conditions will prevail across all parts of the country today, Monday, July 28, 2025.
According to the forecast, mist and fog patches are expected this morning, particularly over forested and mountainous areas, leading to reduced visibility in towns such as Koforidua, Ho, Kumasi, and Akim Oda. Road users and commuters in these zones are advised to exercise caution during the early hours.
Light rain or drizzle is also likely in a few coastal and forest belt areas, including Accra, Cape Coast, and Takoradi during the morning. These conditions are expected to ease later in the day, giving way to brief sunny spells in most regions by the afternoon.
In the northern sector, areas such as Wa, Bolgatanga, Tamale, and Yendi may experience isolated thunderstorms or rain later in the evening.
Meanwhile, the sea is expected to be rough. Fishermen and coastal dwellers are advised to be cautious during marine activities.
