As part of activities to celebrate Pink October 2025, Rayan Medical Centre (RMC) has organised a free breast and general screening for the public.
RMC is also offering 50% discount on breast scan.
The event, which was held at Night Market at Sabon Zongo in Accra, also educated participants on breast cancer, it’s effects and how it can be prevented.
The screening also formed part of events to mark the annual Maulid at Sabon Zongo, Accra, under the auspices of the chief of the Zongo community Alhaji Yahya Hamisu Baako.

Participants were offered medications after the screening with those with ailments that need prompt medical treatment told to seek immediate medical attention at hospitals of their choice.

Specialist obstetrician-gynecologist and social activist Dr. (Med) Faisal Sulley, who is the founder and head of Rayan Medical Centre located at Asore Danso, near Dansoman in the Greater Accra Region and founder of Dr Faisal Sulley Foundation said the free screening formed part of the clinic’s vision of always ensuring it serves the needs of the community and its people.

He encouraged members of the public to take advantage of the huge discount on breast scan to have their breasts checked since early detection of lump in the breast can help save lives.

“What the public needs to know is that a lump isn’t the only sign. So they should look out for dimpling, redness, nipple discharge, or skin thickening like orange peel and attend to them swiftly so we can all have an early detection of breast cancer…,” he advised.
