When it comes to stagecraft, Sarkodie knows how to make an entrance, and at this year’s Rapperholic, he proved once again why he wears the crown in Ghana’s rap game.
Skipping the usual gimmicks and unnecessary theatrics, the rapper kept his entrance simple yet powerful.
As fans roared in anticipation, a flaming backdrop lit up the stage with his iconic slogan “Obidi”, which set the perfect tone for what was to come.
Clad in an immaculate all-white outfit, Sarkodie stepped out with his signature calm confidence.
He greeted his audience not with words, but with dance moves laced with steeze, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Then came the moment all have been waiting for; as he launched into his hit song Messiah, the flaming “Obidi” backdrop transformed into a glorious crown, boldly affirming his reign in Ghana’s music scene.
Though the show had suffered delays, Sarkodie’s opening was enough to melt away frustrations and stir forgiving hearts.
