The founder and General Overseer of Grace Family Church International, Prophet Prince Elisha Kofi Osei, has passed away following a cardiac arrest, his family has officially announced.

In a public notice issued by the Amokuma Tankam Ahinkora Anona Family in conjunction with church leadership, the respected cleric’s death was confirmed on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Signed by family head Nana Kojo Danso Botha, the announcement described his passing as sudden and deeply painful for his family, church, and followers.

Prophet Osei was widely recognized for his spiritual leadership and unwavering dedication to ministry at Grace Family Church International, where he served as founder and General Overseer.

The notice was jointly endorsed by Prophetic Archbishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, President of the National Prophetic and Apostolic Churches Council and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, as well as Archbishop General Dr. Obenfo George Slezer Ofori-Atta of the Prelate Council of World Bishops and Clergies in Philadelphia, USA.

The family noted that the loss has profoundly affected his wife, children, and the wider church community. They have appealed to the public to respect their privacy and refrain from spreading unverified information or making defamatory statements, warning that legal action may be taken against offenders.
