In the wake of the Ghana Armed Forces helicopter crash on Wednesday, which claimed eight lives, including Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and Environment, Science and Technology Minister Dr. Murtala Muhammed, videos have emerged online showing prophets who claim to have foretold the tragedy.
In this regard, the Presidency in the coming days is set to introduce dedicated hotlines and email addresses for the receipt of national prophecies.
The General Overseer of the Ultimate Charismatic Centre disclosed this in an interview with Adom News during a flower-laying and candle-lighting ceremony in honour of the victims.
According to Prophet Prempeh, the initiative will focus on prophecies concerning high-profile leaders, governance, national security, or public stability.
The aim is to create an official channel through which people who believe they have received such messages can pass them to the right authorities, addressing concerns that many do not know where to send them.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie, founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, urged that prophetic messages not be dismissed outright.
He stressed that God can communicate through anyone, whether or not they are recognised as a prophet or pastor, and encouraged the public to treat such pronouncements with seriousness.
Meanwhile, the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations and Board Chairman of the National Prayer Day Planning Committee, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, has urged clergymen to share national prophecies to intensify prayers.
