Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has accused his father of theft, extortion, and years of neglect, following a heated video he shared on Instagram on January 6, 2026.

In the video, the controversial musician alleged that his father had taken his shoes and clothes and was aggressively claiming his properties. He further accused his father of obtaining the contact details of his baby mamas and demanding money from them.

Expressing deep frustration, Portable said his father had never supported him, even during difficult encounters with the police. He insisted that his rise to fame was achieved without any parental assistance, stressing that he received neither educational support nor financial help from his father.

The singer also accused his father of cheating him financially during construction projects, claiming that building costs were deliberately inflated and materials quoted at significantly lower prices were presented at three times their actual cost.

In an emotional appeal, Portable accused his father of exploiting his success and warned that he would no longer tolerate manipulation. He concluded the video by telling his father to stay away, emphasizing that he would not allow such exploitation to continue.
