The Ghana Police Service has arrested 41 suspects following a series of targeted, intelligence-led operations across several communities in the Eastern Region.
In a statement posted on its Facebook page, the Police said the operations were carried out in Nkwatia, Nkawkaw, Kwahu Tafo, Saafi, Trado, Kotoso, Effiduase, Nteso, Somanya, Krobo Odumase and Juaben as part of efforts to curb crime and enhance public safety.
The coordinated exercise focused on identified crime-prone areas and locations linked to suspected criminal activities.
According to the Police, the 41 suspects are believed to be involved in various unlawful acts and are currently assisting with investigations.
The Ghana Police Service reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order nationwide and urged the public to support security agencies by providing credible information to help prevent crime.
