PHOTO: Picture of corpse pounding fufu causes 'backlash' on social media

A picture of the mortal remains of a woman laid in state in a rather bizzare position has gone viral on social media and is causing huge public uproar.
The corpse is in a sitting position wielding a pestil in a morter, depicting someone pounding fufu. It appears the de deceased used to be a “Chop Bar” operator so she was positioned to depict that.

This picture has received a lot of criticism for being outrageous and over the top.
The common chorus has been that Africans would rather spend lavishly on a funeral of a loved one than channel that money to the welfare of that person while they were alive.
