Dr. Audrey Smock Amoah, Guest of Honour at this year’s PETROSOL Platinum Energy 2026 Women in Leadership Conference, has commended PETROSOL for setting up this platform for yearly deliberations on women inclusivity. She encouraged women to seek reliable support amid challenges, praising the Petrosol Women’s Network (PWN) platform for advancing empowerment conversations.
The fifth annual event, organised by PWN to coincide with International Women’s Day in Accra under the main theme, “Investing in Women: Transforming Communities Exponentially,” drew dynamic leaders from the petroleum downstream sector, fostering female empowerment in leadership and decision-making roles.
Dr. Stella Agyenim-Boateng, who chaired the conference, highlighted women’s vital role in PETROSOL’s future. “We are significant members of society who hold the legacy for the next generation,” she affirmed, framing the gathering as a powerhouse assembly beyond just female employees.
Dr. Ellen Ohene-Afoakwa, the keynote speaker, emphasised the transformative power of investing in women through access, opportunities, and support to build resilient teams, institutions, and flourishing communities. “Let’s commit to giving boldly, leading courageously, and investing consistently in ourselves, in one another, and in the systems that shape our collective success,” she urged.
