Patrick Boamah rejects claims that NDC is currently Ghana’s most attractive political party

The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, says he disagrees with claims that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is currently the most attractive political party in Ghana.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, the NPP MP argued that political momentum can shift at any time and expressed confidence that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can win back supporters who may have drifted.

“I disagree with the notion that the NDC is the most attractive party now. Power can do anything, but we can win all our lost supporters back,” he said.

Mr. Boamah stressed that any evaluation of the NDC’s capability should be based on their actions in government, pointing specifically to the 2026 budget presented by the party.

“To know what the NDC can do for Ghanaians depends on the 2026 budget they have just read. We should examine NDC policies, compare them with ours, and present the evidence to Ghanaians,” he stated.

He said the budget would offer a true reflection of the NDC government’s performance and indicate whether the party can fulfil its promises.

Mr. Boamah urged NPP supporters to remain focused, assuring them that the party still has strong policies capable of convincing Ghanaians ahead of future elections.
