Parliament has paid glowing tribute to the late Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Naser Toure Mahama, describing him as a dedicated public servant whose contributions to Ghana’s democratic development will not be forgotten.
In a statement, the House highlighted his integrity while hailing him as a devoted public servant and a committed advocate for the people he represented.
According to Parliament, the late lawmaker was a strong advocate for development initiatives and consistently worked to improve the welfare of the people of Ayawaso East.
His interventions in the House and commitment to service, the statement said, reflected the true ethos of public leadership.
Parliament extended its condolences to the bereaved family, his colleagues in the House, the people of Ayawaso East, and all those affected by his passing, noting that his legacy of service and philanthropy will endure.

Naser Toure Mahama passed away on Sunday, January 4 after a brief illness.
