The Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has handed over two six-unit classroom blocks to the communities of Anyinase and Bontodiase in the Akyemansa District of the Eastern Region to boost the quality of education.
Speaking to the media during the handing-over ceremony, Mr. Oppong Nkrumah said addressing educational infrastructure challenges in the district remains one of his top priorities.
He highlighted the lack of adequate classroom facilities as a major challenge affecting teaching and learning, which he is determined to resolve.
The Ofoase-Ayirebi legislator noted that since assuming office, several school blocks have been constructed across the district to improve learning environments for pupils and assured that more projects will be undertaken to further enhance education delivery.
Meanwhile, the Akyemansa District Chief Executive, Linda Ahenkorah, commended the MP for his continuous efforts to improve education in the area.
She emphasized that the district assembly remains committed to infrastructure development and will continue to foster unity to drive further progress in the district.
