Opare-Addo praises Mahama’s leadership as credible and impactful

Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare-Addo, has lauded President John Dramani Mahama for what he described as credible and impactful leadership that is restoring trust in Ghana’s political system.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, the Minister expressed enthusiasm about serving under President Mahama, praising his hands-on approach and commitment to delivering on promises.

“President Mahama has brought credibility back to Ghana’s political system. When he makes promises, he delivers,” Opare-Addo said.

He cited the successful implementation of the No-Fee Stress policy as a testament to the government’s resolve to ease access to youth programmes.

“The No-Fee Stress policy is working. Anyone who says otherwise simply hasn’t applied,” he stated.

Restoring Dignity and Trust

Opare-Addo applauded the Mahama administration for restoring dignity to public leadership and fostering a sense of trust between government and citizens.

He noted that the administration’s commitment to transparency and accountability is being reinforced by the public’s growing ability to fact-check information through social media platforms.

Involved and Visionary Leadership

The Minister also emphasized President Mahama’s active role in policy formulation and his clear understanding of national development issues.

“President Mahama is very involved in crafting policies and has a deep understanding of what he’s doing. This is not business as usual—this government genuinely wants to bring change to the Ghanaian people,” he said.

The remarks underscore the administration’s ongoing efforts to promote credibility, deliver results, and build a people-centered government.
