A tragic accident occurred at dawn today along the Wassa Akropong–Bogoso highway, claiming the life of one person and leaving another seriously injured.
According to eyewitness reports, a six-seater vehicle collided with a cargo truck that was parked along the roadside.
The impact of the crash was severe, resulting in the immediate death of one occupant of the vehicle, while another sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
