One person has died and 13 others sustained injuries in a head-on collision involving two vehicles on Power-House Road in Ho, Volta Region.
The accident, which occurred on Friday, December 19, involved a Hyundai saloon car (registration GE 1005Y) and a Toyota Land Cruiser (registration CR 2318-25).
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), a total of 15 people were involved, with one person escaping unhurt.
The Ho Municipal Rescue Team, led by Assistant Divisional Officer II (ADO II) Elorm Dorlvo, responded swiftly to the scene. Fire officers rescued the 13 injured victims from the wreckage and transported them to the Ho Teaching Hospital for urgent medical care.
Following the rescue, GNFS personnel cleared the road of debris and removed the damaged vehicles to restore safe movement for motorists and pedestrians.
