OH!!!! my KABA (Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong) as I fondly call you. I’m in pain. I have not been affected by death this much in my entire life.
When I heard the sad news, I just decided not to believe but to pray to hear your voice in my dream.
With God being my witness, I indeed heard your voice but it was frail and so not like you. Though I tried hard to see your face, your just told me ‘I’M IN PAIN”.
I panicked and jumped out of bed and it really hit me that indeed you are gone.
However, I cant say REST IN PEACE, because I know you are not at peace. You had a lot of plans in 2018 including making ‘KABA NATION’  a big entity but … hmmmmm.
AH!!! death so ‘you be yawa like dat’ why have you done this to us; few days to the end of the year.
My lovely one, others uses a lot of time to beautify themselves. Nevertheless, your natural beauty is always the best to me.
I listen to many people, but your words are sweet and full of wisdom. There is one gift you gave me that I shall never forget: patience and I will cherish that forever.
I remember how you always shield me from the clutches of politicians who appear on you flagship political talk show, Ekosii Sen programme from Monday to Friday at 2 pm.
You always told me “do your job; you would have written the story if they had not said it”.
You have beautiful lips, but your words and voice are wonderful and valuable. You would always smile when I enter the studio unannounced.
There is one thing that makes me trust in you: you love and accept yourself the way you are and always like to associate with people.
kaba
My colleagues Dorcas Abedu Kennedy, Kweku Nti, Geshong, Dennis Kofi Adu and myself will smile at eachother when you pretend to know everyone you interview. You make afternoon radio fun and always generate the hot news.
Our encounter on your 40th birthday was lovely. Typical of me, I walked straight and sat on you. We took very memorable pictures and till date some people are very jealous haahaaahaaa.

OH! my KABA, when we gained admission to Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD), you decided not to accept due to your dedication to work.
However, you assured me of your plans to do a similar course at the Kofi Annan Peace and Training Centre.
“Oh I have done everything and God willing will start next year eiii diplomat, don’t worrying I will join your soon…” KABA told me with a broad smile.

I’m not surprised many people including President Akufo-Addo, former President John Mahama and many dignitaries are paying glowing tribute to you when you sudden demise occurred on Saturday Novembr18, 2017 at the Kole Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
You are really a gem and irreplaceable.

My last wish is for you to console your wife Valentina Ofori Afriyie that you are going to prepare a place for her.
Either HEAVEN OR PARADISE, TILL WE MEET AGAIN.
