Ntim Fordjour slams NDC appointees over lavish spending, calls for accountability

Member of Parliament for Assin South, John Ntim Fordjour, has launched a scathing attack on appointees of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), accusing them of excessive spending and unexplained wealth after just 120 days in office.

In a post shared on social media, the MP alleged that some individuals—whom he claims have never held formal employment—are publicly flaunting expensive gadgets and luxury vehicles, including a $450,000 Range Rover Autobiography.

He argued that the value of these items could instead be used to build classroom blocks in their communities.

Ntim Fordjour criticised what he described as a “toothless” Code of Conduct, arguing that it fails to hold such officials accountable.

He also mocked NDC supporters for enduring hardship under the same leadership they defend online.

“You worked, they’re chopping!” Fordjour stated, urging citizens to demand transparency and accountability from government appointees.
