The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has announced that the party will issue a final warning to Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye and party communicator Ernest Owusu Bempah for acts of indiscipline.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr. Kodua revealed that a petition regarding their conduct has been submitted to the National Council, which is currently deliberating on the matter.
“There will be a final warning to Abronnye and Owusu Bempah over their indiscipline,” he stated.
“Moving forward, the party will not tolerate such behaviour, even from leaders. Sanctions will be applied where necessary.”
He added that the NPP will soon launch a training programme to educate members on the party’s traditions, communication strategies, and leadership responsibilities.
“If you hold a position in the party, your utterances carry weight. You must be cautious because your words can impact the party’s image,” Mr. Kodua warned.
