The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has referred the conduct of its Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, to the party’s National Disciplinary Committee.
In a petition submitted by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the party outlined several allegations against Abronye DC, describing his actions as unbecoming of a member and damaging to the unity and integrity of the NPP.
The concerns raised include alleged defamatory remarks against Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong, false claims that the General Secretary concealed a report recommending Mr. Agyapong’s expulsion, and misrepresentation of disciplinary committee findings.
The petition calls for a full inquiry and appropriate sanctions, emphasizing that accountability and discipline are essential to safeguarding the party’s credibility and democratic values.
