Former Minister for Works and Housing, Samuel Atta Kyea, has launched a sharp critique of New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful Kennedy Agyapong, describing his character as “like diarrhea — he can’t hide it.”

Speaking to Adom News, the MP argued that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a far more appealing candidate for the party’s presidential primaries, citing his clean record and measured temperament.

“There is no corruption allegation that has stuck with Bawumia,” Atta Kyea stated.
“Ken doesn’t take advice; he does as he pleases. His words don’t reflect well on him. His attitude cannot be hidden; it shows no matter how you try to cover it.”

He added that Dr. Bawumia’s discipline and composure make him a stronger contender for the NPP’s leadership, insisting that Kennedy Agyapong’s “political temperament” disqualifies him from becoming president.

Atta Kyea stressed that, in his view, the Vice President remains “the more attractive flagbearer” ahead of the primaries.
