New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant, Dr Bryan Acheampong, has expressed confidence in the fairness of the party’s 2026 presidential primaries and pledged to accept the results.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, he said he has absolute trust in the process and the elections committee.
Dr Acheampong also noted that other aspirants, including Kennedy Agyapong, share his confidence in the commission’s impartiality.
“I have noticed that this time the NPP presidential election commission is alert and has done well. For now, I trust them completely. I also spoke to another aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong, and he believes in them too. They have demonstrated fairness, and they are addressing the feedback we provided.
“They are conducting a transparent process, and we are all satisfied. Therefore, this election will be free and fair, and I don’t foresee any schemes to rig it. I don’t anticipate any challenges with the primary election. I have signed a document committing to accept the results because I trust the commission, and I will support whoever wins,” he said.
