NPP Patriotic Institute is refreshing start for our party – Sammi Awuku

Former National Lottery Authority boss and influential NPP stalwart, Sammi Awuku, is rallying party faithful behind what he calls a bold new mission, which is the launch of the NPP Patriotic Institute, a fresh push to revive the party’s fortunes ahead of 2028.

In a passionate post on Facebook, Awuku described the new institute as “a call to action, a fresh chapter, a bolder vision, and a rekindled patriotism,” adding that it could transform the party’s future direction and inject much-needed energy after its 2024 defeat.

He credited past and current party executives with finally bringing a long-cherished dream to life, praising them for creating a space to reflect, rebuild, and reposition for what he believes will be a triumphant return to power.

“In the face of every great comeback is a moment of deep reflection and strategic renewal,” Awuku wrote, urging supporters to “learn, rebuild, and arise again” for victory in 2028.

The Patriotic Institute is designed as a think-and-learn hub to train and develop party talent, sharpen ideological focus, and mentor the next generation of political leaders.

Plans include policy brainstorming sessions, leadership bootcamps, seminars on governance and democracy, and an archive chronicling the NPP’s historical journey.

According to party insiders, the institute is expected to energize the grassroots, redefine party strategy, and supply fresh intellectual firepower for the next electoral battle.

With the NPP in rebuilding mode after losing in 2024, Awuku’s rallying cry has struck a chord among supporters looking for a reset.

He ended his message with a note of determination: “Let’s arise again for a great comeback in 2028.”
