The Kumasi unit of the Multimedia Group has celebrated one of its leading presenters, Kingsley Odame Amoako, popularly known as ‘Asanka de Boyosman’, for his 20 years of service to the company.
The seasoned broadcaster joined Nhyira FM in 2005 and has been entertaining listeners for two decades as the drive-time host.
His show, “Ofie Kwanso” is one of the most listened-to programs in Kumasi, airing daily between 3pm and 6pm.
Speaking to Adom News during the celebration, Asanka de Boyosman expressed his commitment to continue to serve his audience until he retires.
“I have passion for radio and am not ready to bring my career to an end at Multimedia though I have served for 20 years,” he said.
He revealed that he has opened a new chapter on the drive time show where he is going to lead a campaign on road accidents to save lives.
Asanka used the opportunity to express his profound gratitude to his work colleagues, management and team members for supporting him to excel in the past two years.
It was a colourful party at Nhyira Fm to celebrate the seasoned broadcaster for his excellent job.
