
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Mr. Eric Adjei, has extended his support to traders whose shops and properties were destroyed during a fire outbreak at the Sampa Market on the 9th of this month.
In a heartfelt gesture aimed at restoring hope and helping the victims rebuild their livelihoods, Mr. Adjei presented financial assistance of GHC 5,000 each to about twenty affected traders, amounting to a total of GHC 100,000.
This intervention is part of his commitment to ensuring that entrepreneurs and small business operators receive the necessary support to recover from unexpected disasters that threaten their businesses.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr. Adjei expressed his sympathy to the victims and assured them of his continuous support
. He further emphasized NEIP’s dedication to empowering individuals and businesses across the country, noting that entrepreneurship is a key driver of national development.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Mr. Adjei for the timely assistance, which they described as a great relief in this challenging moment.
