The Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Eric Adjei, has expressed strong confidence that the party will win the upcoming Kpandai parliamentary rerun ordered by the High Court.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr. Adjei stressed that the court’s decision must be respected, adding that the ruling provides an opportunity for the NDC to reclaim the seat.

“The law is the law, and the law has been applied. NDC will definitely win back the seat because our footprints are all over the constituency,” he said.

He also challenged the New Patriotic Party (NPP), asserting that the NDC’s influence in the area is so strong that even if an NDC member were allowed to contest in the NPP’s chairmanship race, “that person would easily win.”

Mr. Adjei argued that Ghanaians have become more politically aware due to economic hardships under the NPP administration, insisting that any by-election or rerun would favour the NDC.

“Ghanaians now understand the economy and how the NPP mismanaged it. Governance is about the people, and President John Mahama is a grassroots person here to make the country great again,” he stated.

The rerun follows a High Court ruling that annulled the 2024 parliamentary results in Kpandai after a petition challenging the outcome.
