National Service Authority dismisses fake “second batch postings” notice

-

The National Service Authority (NSA) has warned the public to disregard a false publication circulating on social media claiming that a “second batch of National Service postings” will be released on Wednesday, November 5.

In a statement, the NSA clarified that the announcement, which falsely featured the Authority’s logo to appear official, did not originate from them and should be ignored.

“The said publication is false and did not emanate from the Authority,” the statement read. “We urge the general public, especially prospective service personnel and tertiary institutions, to disregard this fake notice and treat it with the contempt it deserves.”

The Authority stressed that all official updates are released exclusively through its verified channels, including its website, official social media pages, and authorised press statements.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and accurate communication, the NSA assured the public that it will continue to provide timely and credible updates on all national service matters.
