Newmont Ahafo Development Foundation (NADeF) has organised a mock examination for 791 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates within the communities it operates in the Tano North Municipality of Ahafo Region for adequate preparation for the examination.
The Deputy Director in charge of private schools at the Tano North Education Directorate, Fredrick Kwadwo Anane in an interview with Adom News, expressed gratitude to NADeF.
Mr. Anane explained that the mock is similar to the BECE, so it’s a step to assess the candidates before the commencement of the exams scheduled for May 2026.
According to him, they have entreated the candidates to write the mock examination with the same seriousness they will use for the BECE to prepare them well.

He appealed to NADeF to organise more mocks for BECE candidates in subsequent years to prepare them well.
Some of the candidates from Yamfo, Adrobaa, Terchire, Afrisipakrom and Susuanso in an interview with Adom News also thanked NADeF and said the mock will prepare them well for the BECE.
