Recently appointed Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has pledged to restore the club to its winning ways.
The 59-year-old former Black Stars assistant coach was confirmed as the Phobians’ head trainer at the end of the 2024/25 season, taking over from Ivorian Aboubakar Ouattara, who has now been reassigned as technical advisor to the Board of Directors.
In an interview with Graphic Sports, Dramani described the appointment as an honour and expressed his determination to leave a lasting legacy at the club.
“Hearts of Oak is a great club with a rich tradition, recognised across Africa and beyond. It is a privilege to serve one of the greatest clubs globally,” he said.
“My dream is to bring direction, consistency, sustainability, and success, and to be remembered for great things here.”
Currently overseeing pre-season training, the highly regarded tactician is assembling a squad capable of challenging for silverware in the 2025/26 campaign.
Hearts of Oak will test their readiness this weekend when they face Heart of Lions in the 2025 Homowo Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
