The First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Lordina Dramani Mahama, has issued a heartfelt message to commemorate Mother’s Day.
She expressed deep gratitude and admiration for the dedication and sacrifices of Ghanaian mothers.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to supporting women, the First Lady highlighted the administration’s efforts to create an inclusive economy, expand job opportunities for the youth, and improve living standards for all Ghanaians.
Special focus, she said, is being placed on enhancing healthcare services, especially for mothers and children.
“Ensuring that mothers receive the best possible care during pregnancy and childbirth… is a cause very close to my heart,” Mrs. Mahama stated.
She concluded her message with blessings and appreciation for the love, resilience, and strength shown by mothers across the country, wishing all women in Ghana a joyful and love-filled Mother’s Day.
