Tottenham Hotspur forward Mohammed Kudus is eager to make a significant impact at his new club.
The Ghana international completed his move to the North London side earlier this summer, joining from West Ham United.
Kudus, 24, signed a five-year contract with Spurs in a deal reportedly worth £55 million.
Having already featured in Tottenham’s pre-season fixtures, Kudus said he wants to be dependable both in attack and in defence.
“In as much as I offer a lot offensively, defensively I want to be able to make the team feel like they can also depend on me,” Kudus told Hayters TV.
“The full backs also need me in times like that, especially in games where we have to be defending sometimes, so it’s something I am bringing to the team,” he added.
Last season, Kudus played 32 matches for West Ham United, scoring five goals and showcasing his versatility.
Now, he hopes to take his game to a higher level with Tottenham as the new Premier League season draws near.
